After School Club
What is after school club?
Branching Outwood's after-school clubs give primary kids the chance to play, explore, and grow in local wild spaces. In small groups, they build confidence, get creative with natural materials, and take on fun challenges through “risky play.” Sessions are child-led, and our leaders gently guide them to stretch their skills and discover what they’re really capable of—all while having a wild time outdoors!​​
What we do...
Our Forest School after-school sessions are two-hour outdoor adventures held in local woodlands and wild spaces. Taking place during school term time, each session follows the rhythm of the seasons—shifting and growing just like your child. We start with a plan, but we let the children’s curiosity and interests lead the way, making every session a little different and full of surprises!

Holiday Club
What is holiday club?
Our Holiday Club is all about fresh air, muddy hands, and big smiles!
Designed for primary-aged children, these outdoor adventures take place in local wild spaces where kids can explore, play, and grow in small, supportive groups.
Each session is child-led, meaning little explorers follow their curiosity—whether that’s crafting cool creations from natural materials, climbing trees, building dens, or getting stuck into some good old-fashioned “risky play.” Along the way, they’ll build confidence, resilience, and real-world skills that stick.

Holiday Clubs are full-day adventures in local woodlands, giving children the chance to slow down, connect with nature, and grow through play and exploration.
With plenty of time outdoors, kids build confidence, learn new skills, and develop resilience all while having fun! Our experienced leaders guide and support them through hands-on activities, games, and meaningful moments that help build self-awareness, empathy, and independence.
